| Requirements: | Materials: 1 yard solid for sashing and inner border (5 - 2" strips for border, 80 - 5 x 2" strips for sashing) 40 assorted 5" squares or scraps (Can use a 5" or 10" precut package, or 4 fat quarters) 3/4 yard of fabric for the outer border 3/4 yard for 40 - 2"inch squares for sashing and binding. 3 yards of fabric for backing and 49" x 61" for batting Supplies: recommended Sewing machine and manual New needle, 80/12 or 90/14 sharp. Seam ripper Cutting mat (12"x18" recommended) 45 mm rotary cutter Ruler (6"x12" and/or 6"x18") Piecing thread, white, cream or light grey Snips Fine pins Scissors Optional: Best Press Travel iron and mat Clips |
